Hanging Bridges Hike
The hanging
bridges is a tourist project consisting of paths and bridges
built with a view to maintain the outmost harmony between man
made structure and nature. Covering an area of approximately
250 hectares of primary rain forest, with an impressive view
of the Arenal Volcano.
There are eight (8) fixed bridges,
ranging in length between 8 to 22 meters and six (6) hanging bridges
between 48 and 98 meters long.
The trails, covering a
distance of about 3.1 kilometers are right in the rain
forest. As you
walk will be able to appreciate a great diversity of flowers
and wildlife.
What to bring:
copy of your passport,
long pants, t-shirt, extra change of dry clothes, bathing
suit, bug spray, sunscreen, binoculars, hat, raincoat and cameras.
