Arenal volcano
Enjoy a guided drive through an extraordinary pastoral
landscape over the Tilaran Mountain Range
and through quaint
villages.
Our first stop will be at Las Pumas Rescue Shelter. Here you
have the opportunity to see 6 species of endangered felines
that live in Costa Rica , besides other species of mammals
and birds. The tour continues towards the Arenal's Lake
where you have time for a delicious typical lunch.
Right after lunch, we drive for about 40 minutes and arrive
at the base of the volcano to start with the activity you
have selected.
Once the activity is finished, we take you to the hot
springs to enjoy its curative and relaxing pools at the
bottom of the impressive volcano.
We will stay at the volcano area until dark hoping to see
its lava coming down. Arenal Volcano has remained active
since 1968, producing steam columns, rumbling explosions and
a constant shower of red lava .
