Arenal volcano

The drive is
simply amazing ! As you travel from the coast you will
experience how the vegetation gradually changes and will
spot many different and colorful species of plants even wild
life can be found by our tour guides along the way. Arenal
Volcano is located in the northwestern side of the country
and is consider a
young volcano
with a perfect conical shape. It has remained active since
1968, producing steam columns, rumbling explosions and a
constant shower of red lava. A visit to Arenal will not be
completed with out some of the mayor attractions in the
area, below you will find 3 different activities you can
include during your trip to this incredible Rain Forest.
As for the Hot Springs we have carefully select an exclusive
private resort and spa that include eighteen free form
landscaped pools that provide our guests with great views of
the volcano and a multitude of options. With temperatures
ranging from 76˚F to 103˚F and environments that vary from
raging waterfalls to tranquil forest experiences . Our
guests can find the perfect pool for their mood and the
current weather conditions.
Tests of the hot mineral springs reveal an ideal natural
combination of high bicarbonate and high chlorides with
relatively low sulfur content to provide a safe and clean
soaking experience.
We will stay at
the volcano area until dark hoping to see its lava coming
down.
